AOA – EFORT TRAVELING FELLOWSHIP

Thru the efforts of Dr Ong Leong Boon, ASEAN traveling fellows were sent to the EFORT Congresses. This has led to an opening of our ties and collaboration with our European Orthopaedic colleagues.

AOA – BRITISH ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION TRAVELING FELLOWSHIP

In 2004, current Presidents of the 5 ASEAN National Associations or their representative have been invited to attend the Annual BOA Meeting in UK in the agreement of Prof. Ong Leong Boon and then BOA President Mr. David Jones. This has likewise opened more opportunities to collaborate and exchange expertise with the United Kingdom. The Inaugural BOA travelling fellowship arranged jointly by BOA Annual Convention in Manchester, England.
